DEGREE OF REQUIRED EMBROIDERY SKILLS: low to medium
APPLIED EMBROIDERY STITCHES: chain stitch, outline stitch and satin (or damask) stitch
CONTENT: 60 X 46cm, small size tablecloth / thee towel + cotton embroidery yarn + detailed needlework guidelines
This is an authentic heritage pattern from the Hungarian Rábaköz region. Nevertheless, we did simplify the embroidery stitches, so that those with less needlework experience can also do it. The original colours have been slightly also redesigned to make the needlework fit our modern interiors and look more trendy.
The pattern is printed on supreme quality fabrics. We receive this 52% linen + 48% cotton, pre-shrunk and snow white textile from a Belgium small manufacturer. Its weaving is unbelievably even. It is strong and light at the same time. These qualities are a precondition to make a beautiful embroidery.
Enjoy your needlework!
Washing instructions:
Please always was the towel at 30 Celsius degree and wool programme. Embroidery must always be ironed on the reverse side, placing a wet cotton handkerchief between the fabrics and the ironing machine. It is also recommended to do the ironing a couple of hours after washing, i.e. when the fabrics is still slightly wet and then let it dry further.
The linen you receive is already pre-shrunk and therefore you can start embroidering strait away. Once your needlework is completed, please gently rub the surface with a washing soap, so that the textile ink of the pattern shall be dissolved.
